Originally built in 1939, Jennette’s is the oldest fishing pier in the Outer Banks.
And it is also the newest pier too. After being destroyed by Hurricane Isabel in 2003, Jennette’s was rebuilt and reopened in 2011.
The pier is owned by the NC Aquarium Society and provides a variety of educational programs and exhibits.
